We do not recommend testing too early as it often causes great disappointment and confusion. We recommend waiting until the test date proposed by Fertility Friend. This date is based on your own cycle statistics and our research on pregnancy charts.
That said, there are reasons to test early beyond the simple need to know. Pregnancy tests are quite sensitive and results can show quite early in some cases.
We have conducted a few studies that may help shed some light on the issue.
To understand basic statistics on pregnancy test timing please refer to our Pregnancy Test Study. This study looks at the general test patterns and helps to provide a basis for determining a reasonable test date.
