Introduction
I was 28 years old, my husband 32, when we decided to TTC our 3rd child. Our first daughter was an "oops" and our second child came after about a year of not using protection (but not tracking my cycles). I have always had irregular periods, and I was also diagnosed as having hypothyroidism when I was pregnant with my second daughter. We started TTC in Jan 2009, and in March 2009 I went in for my annual pap and told my dr that we were TTC. With the history of irregular periods, she decided to do some blood work, and that all came back okay. 2 months later and still no BFP, she did a semen analysis on my husband and that came back fine, too. The following month she did an HSG, and determined that my right tube is completely blocked, but the left tube looked clear. I showed her the temp charts that I had been doing since March, and we determined that I was not ovulating on my own. My first round of Clomid was in August, and that did make me ovulate on CD22, but 13 days later my period came. The next round started in September, and I ovulated on CD28. I got my BFP on Halloween (today)!!! We are hoping this sticks and if so, we will be due on 7/13/10.

Tests, Procedures, Medical consultations
I had blood work done in March, my husband had a semen analysis done in May, I had an HSG done in June (this was NOT bad, although I was scared!!), and each of those was accompanied by a dr appt.

Trying-to-Conceive (TTC) experience
It definitely caused some stress between my husband and myself. I felt at times as though I was doing all the work (temping, using OPKs, CBEFM, trying to time bd) and sometimes he would refuse to bd because he was tired. That caused the biggest stress for us.

Charting Experience
Charting helped me realize that I was not ovulating on my own, and I was able to print out the charts and take them to my dr. My dr was very receptive to looking at the charts and she also determined I was not ovulating on my own after reviewing them. It was also very nice and motivating after I started Clomid to see my thermal shift and confirm that I did O.

The Internet
I was always using the internet to look up information!!
