Introduction
I was diagnosed with endometriosis at age 16 - i had extremely painful and long, heavy periods. I had 3 laporoscopies - the last 8months before trying to conceive - i was told within 6-12months of the procedure was the best time to ttc
Tests, Procedures, Medical consultations
my gyno said to try for a baby 6-12months post operation for endometriosis
Trying-to-Conceive (TTC) experience
i expected it would take me a very long time to conceive - we used the temperature method
first month i didn't listen to my bodies mucus pattern and didn't get pregnant - but the second month as soon as that temperature dipped and my mucus became egg whitey (so as to speak) we had intercourse and i fell pregnant
my husband and i only had sex 4 times in my fertile period for that month also - i dont know if this helped at all
Charting Experience
fantastic - the temp gives you a great understanding (i did it vaginally - the best way to go for accuracy) and together with your mucus it gives you a great idea of when to have intercourse
The Internet
this website was great - just very easy to use and you can overlay your cycles and charts
Other Thoughts?
my boy is 11months old and we will be trying agin next month for baby no.2 - i will be using mucus at first as signs of ovulation - if that doesn't work i will go back to charting temperatures

My temperature has dipped below the coverline during the luteal phase. Does this mean I didn't really ovulate? Could I still be pregnant?
