Introduction
My periods were never normal. Getting off birth control, I didn't have a period until I went to the Dr. months later. He put me on pills to help with that. I got pregnant in Nov 2007. I loss the baby in March 2008. Since my loss, my periods have still not been normal. In September, a friend recommended me to take my tempeture and record it on fertility friend. I discovered that I was having periods every other month and was not ovulating regularly.

Tests, Procedures, Medical consultations
In September after talking with my friend I also talked to my Dr. It has been 6 months and no results. She told me this is my ball game and she would do whatever it takes to help me. The Dr. put me on clomid. I waited for a period and that was when I realized I haven't ovulated. I did a 21 follow-up and I didn't ovulate. If it wasn't for taking my tempeture, I would have never known I wasn't ovualating. I had the signs just not the tempeture spike. Finally my period came in November and I took the clomid 3-7 day of my period. I found out that I was pregnant Dec 28!

Trying-to-Conceive (TTC) experience
I became extremely depressed after my loss. I wanted to become pregnant right away, because I thought that would help my grief. That didn't work. I also was very jealous of people around me who were pregnant or became pregnant. Some of my friends and family didn't know what to say to me so it became weird to talk to them. I am very open about what happened to me. I have a huge support from my friends and husband.

Charting Experience
I learned a lot about my body from this web site and what signs to look for. I highly recommend anyone to take their tempeture and record it on fertility friend to better understand your own body. I would have never realized I was not ovualating regulary if it wasn't for fertility friend.
