Introduction
I am 35. My DH and I have been married for almost 17 years. We have 16-year-old twins (boy/girl) and a 3-year-old DD. I went off BCPs in mid June 2006.

Tests, Procedures, Medical consultations
A little over a week ago, I had an u/s of my ovaries to check them. The u/s tech/nurse saw a corpus luteum in my right ovary. During my Pap that same day, the doctor said I had post ovulation CM. I then had my progesterone level checked.

Trying-to-Conceive (TTC) experience
I went off BCPs in mid June 2006 and started TTC in July. I got a BFP November 11, 2006. At my 1st doctor appointment on December 1, 2006, the u/s tech could not find a heartbeat when I was 6 wks 7 days gestation. Doctor put me on Prometrium and 1 mg of folic acid and had me come back 2 weeks later for another u/s. The baby still had no HB and was only measuring 6 wks 1 day. I was devastated. I never thought I would go through something like this. I was so depressed, but I had to pull myself together for my other kids for the holidays. I had a D&C on December 19, 2006. I only spotted after the D&C until 6 days later when I started having heavy bleeding. That lasted for 3 weeks. I then had no AF until 11 weeks after my D&C. I had spotting for 5 days at 9 wks after D&C, but real AF showed up at 11 wks post D&C on March 5. I had a baseline/screening mammogram on March 15. I then had my 2nd AF post D&C on March 31, so I only had a 26-day cycle. By temping and OPKs, I ovulated on CD15, so my LP was 11 days. During my 2nd cycle, I ovulated on CD16. Then on April 30, 15DPO, I tested and got a BFP! So even though I had to wait 11 long wks for AF after my D&C, I got pregnant on my 2nd cycle. I'm really nervous about this pregnancy because of what I went through in December, but I am also very happy and excited. I will just take it one day at a time and hope everything goes okay.

Charting Experience
Charting has helped me tremendously! I would get two +OPKs in a row, but by charting, I was able to tell when I actually ovulated. I really learned a lot about my cycle by charting. I was also able to tell that I may possibly be pregnant before I missed AF because of my temps.
