Introduction
My husband and I are ttc our 2nd child. I've always had irregular cycles so I was concerned about that when ttc the first time around. After struggling with getting an ovulation time pinpointed, I started a Chinese herb, and got pregnant after using it for 1 month. Our son was conceived after trying for a total of 5 months. That seemed like a long time. I had no clue!This time around I started the same herbs as soon as I stopped bc to stay regular. They kept me on 28 day cycles for awhile but, over the past 11 months my cycle has varied between 27 and 30+ days. I'm always able to pinpoint ovulation with hpk's. After trying for 9 months my dh ordered a home test kit for himself. As we feared, it showed abnormal. With a urologist he's had 2 more SA's which have showed variations in his count from 8 mil-12 mil. Ultrasound didn't really show anything. He's been taking vitamins and every supplement we've read about trying to help. He recently started chlomid. We won't know if that's helped for couple more months. As for me, today is CD 33. Tested this morning and got BFN. Totally depressed. Not only am I not showing up pregnant but my cycle is off yet again. Tomorrow, we go for our first visit with fertility dr. If I start sometime between now and then they can't really do much checking me out. Don't want to reschedule. We waited a long time to get this appt. We have a couple hours drive too. Not sure how it's all going to work out.

Trying-to-Conceive (TTC) experience
My dh and I have struggled. This is very hard on a relationship. Probably one of the worst parts of this Is that our bf's decided to start trying 6 months after we did. After trying a month, they got pregnant. It's not that I didn't want her to get pregnant. I just wanted to be pregnant too. We were hoping to be together. Now, I'm always around when she's going thru the joys of carrying a child, everybody rubbing her belly, etc. It's hard.

Other Thoughts?
We are continually praying for a miracle. SOON!!
