Introduction
We conceived our daughter the first month we threw caution to the wind. Naturally, we assumed ttc our second child would be easy. Unfortunately, this was not the case. After 6 months of well timed intercourse, we went to the doctor. She suspected a slight luteal phase defect and low progesterone. I was supposed to start clomid and progesterone next month, but God opened my womb, and I'm pregnant! Now, I can't stop praying for decent levels of progesterone to maintain this pregnancy.

Tests, Procedures, Medical consultations
Since I am 30, I had a hard time decided when to see the doc. Most research said those under 30 should try for a year first, and those above 30 should wait no longer than 6 months. I decided to go earlier rather than later, because I didn't want the age difference between my children to be too great, and I may want 3...I want to allow myself enough time to easily conceive a 3rd baby if we so desire.

Trying-to-Conceive (TTC) experience
TTC was very stressful for me. I couldn't help but get my hopes up only to have them crushed when AF showed up a few weeks later. There were so many ups and downs, the emotional roller coaster was tough. My husband travels for work, which make timing the BD difficult, just another thing to stress about. The good thing, though, was how it brought us closer together as a couple.

Charting Experience
My doctor was happy that I had been charting as they provided her data to draw conclusions from. This shortened the time necessary for a diagnosis.
