all about 5-7 weeks. he is almost double his birth weight now!

Birth story!!!!!!
HI GIRLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol. miss ya!!! well ill tell ya my birth story. well i got my my membrane strip on the wednesday before, i was pretty much in early labor for the whole week, my contractions would com close and then drop farther. monday night and tuesday mornin i had tons of pressure down there and was having regular contractions. i told dh i thought it should be very soon, but to go to work because i had been having the contractions for almost a week and was waiting till they were very intense to ever go in. well my dh came home 4 hours early cause he had a feeling i was gonna go, cause i told him there was alot of pressure. so we went to mcdonalds, then to shop and bought some baby clothes, lol, and by the time we got home they were about 5 min apart still but had been on and off for days so still waitin, but i knew this was it because they were gettin more intense. so, my brother in law and sister in law and their kids came over to use our computer for something, and i told her i was prolly going into the hospital. after they left i showered and got our bag ready, and by the time we left they were about 3-4 min apart and painful. we got to the hospital at 6:30 pm, and they said they would do an OB check lol and i was like okay, they figure alot of first time moms come in for false labor. lol. so they hooked me up to the monitor, and checked my cervix and i was a loose 4. and my contractions were strong and every about 3-4 min. so the nurse calls my midwife and comes in and says YOUR STAYING lol. i was like well i knew that, haha. oh and i kept saying i had a feeling i had group b strep, well they never called to tell me after my test, but at the hospital they told me i was positive. i smiled just cause i was right haha. so they hooked me up to the IV and got antibiotics going. i originaly planned a no epidural labor. well, i ended up having back labor because he turned posterior AGAIN. lol. they always say back labor is like 20x worse, but i dont know what the regular feels like, it was BAD though. lol. by the time i was 6 cm i asked for the epi, well they anisthesiologist was in surgery! they kept saying, they will get there when they are done, blah blah lol. they put me in the whirlpool on my hands and knees to try and get the baby to flip. he never did though till he was literaly on his way out. so they gave me some med to make me relax in between the contractions, but it wasnt a painkiller, she said i would feel drunk, lol. i did, for maybe 15 min and it wore off, but i did relax more. so my midwife was by me the whole time trying to help me breath through them, finaly i looked at her and said the epi guy wasnt gonna make it! i had to get him out he is down there now i said, so she checked and then they all started stirring around gettin ready, she said, she needs to push now! so i turned on my back and they actualy had me push on my side for a few moments to so he could turn on the way down. they kept saying i was pushing amazingly and i had to have oxygen which i kept tryin to take off, hehe, anyways, my husband said he literaly almost cried because he felt bad for me. dh saw the head and told me, and finaly out he came at exactly 11:00, one hour before my birthday! i only pushed 29 minutes!!!!! from the time we got there to his birth was only 4 1/2 hours! which is what i wanted! he was soooo cute when they put him on my belly. they quickly took him though, i started having post partum hemmoraging!!!! i was gettin delirious feeling and loopy, and kept asking wierd questions i guess. but they finaly got it to stop bleeding, and then she repaired me, i had two second degree tears, not on the outside at all though, they were inside, but my butt was fine, lol. anyways, i was realy weak and didnt get up and i still am having trouble gettin up and down, but much better now, the first two days were horrible! i am VERY sore. my tail bone is very bad. but he is sooooooo amazing! he was 6 pounds 7 ounces and 20 inches long. he is very good. he has some jaundice, and because his blood type ended up A with O's on it which is called cumes positive or something, they are keeping an eye on him we have to go back sunday, BUT he is doing well. he was having a bit of trouble eating cause he was sooo lethargic from the jaundice, but last night he did GREAT! he was waking himself up every about 2 1/2 to 3 hours, and i would feed him and then pump more and change him and he goes back to sleep after. i was breasting only but they had us supplement with some formula until i got my milk in more, because it helps to make jaundice go away with the bowel movements. i am getting milk in now though, and they are sending me a realy nice hospital grade pump free. i still let him have the breast itself sometimes, but mainly bottle breast milk cause we have to monitor what he eats, he did lose 5 oz the first couple days but he is doing so much better. he actualy wakes up for his feedings by himself which is great. i love him so much. my dh was so amazing with helping me and he didnt leave me once and the hospital except to go to get food once. we got out of there at 9 thursday night. they kept us to watch his eating. and they put me on restrictions for a couple weeks for the low blood count. but we are wonderful and sooo happy. the first night he didnt go to bed till 5 am and was so upset. but he is comfy now, and things are wonderful!! he is such a GOOD baby!!!!!!!!! blessings!!

well he is much better his jaundice is going down and he is eating a ton. lol. he gained 7 ounces in two days!! he is gonna be a chunky monkey. lol. hehe.

These are our 20 week 3 day u/s. we found out its a BOY!!!!!!! and that he is wonderfuly perfect and healthy and he has quote "long beautiful legs" haha!!

hi everyone i am ashley, and my wonderful husband is adam. and i live in illinois. i have been with my husband for almost 4 1/2 years. we have been actively ttc for 10 months and just started fertility friend this last august. so far its anovulatory as you can see. hopefuly this one will be different. i had breast discharge and was tested for high prolactin. high prolactin is very likely cause of no ovulation. and it was high. doc said normal levels for a non pregnant and non breast feeding woman should be between 20-29. mine were 59. i was tested for it again a second time on friday sept. 29th 2007. it was high again, a few points lower, but still up too high. begin to test for why. my doc ordered a test for thyroid dysfunction as hypothyroidism can cause high prolactin. that is the last thing she will be doing for me. she said she is refering me to an RE. so im like so excited. i was so suprised by this. anyway the other causes of it besides thyroid, is an adenoma, or aka pituitary tumor. so i guess i will be getting an mri. and very occasionaly sometimes, due to a hormonal imbalance, some people just have high prolactin and its not know why. but they give meds to regulate this hormone. oh, for those who dont know, prolactin is the hormone that produces breast milk in mommies. well i have no babies and am not yet a mommy. but anyway, very often, for what ever the reason for the high prolactin, it can cause anovulatory cycles. so im realy hoping that maybe that is all that is wrong. because then all i would need is the meds to regulate and balance my hormones. usualy they give parlodel which also will shrink a tumor if there is one. that is actuealy not scary as it sounds. they are usualy benign. so treatment comes in, and then maybe then we get pregnant very soon! i hope so. right now my hubby is on L-ARGENINE. this is an amino acid and dramaticaly improves sperm count, morphology and motility. 2000 mg a day in a two week window when i should, if i do, ovulate and 1000 a day otherwise. we dont know if he has low sperm count, but to cover the bases he takes it. and right now i just started vitex to see if that naturaly lowers my prolactin and i O. my current doc didnt want me too, she wanted me to stop ttc till we find out whats wrong. but im like anyone with anything wrong, endo, pcos, anything, i wont quit cause the way i see it if GOD wants us there, which i hope he does now or very soon, then i can wait till later to see of there is a tumor. they say its not very big of a deal and she says well no mri if i pg, but if its no biggie, i dont mind waiting. well, i realy hope that we get there soon, and i realy hope you all do too. well VITEX WORKED! i did O, i actualy O'd. but sadly my luteal phase was only a short few days. :( but i told the RE i O'd with it and he still wants to shrink the tumor with parlodel(bromocriptine) and he wants to put me on prometrium as well, as i have low progesterone making a short LP. realy short. LOL.

well i got my bfp. the RE had put tme on bromocriptine for the tumor cells. i wont be needing an mri. and i did O on my own last cycle, thanks to vitex, but i only had a 4 day LP!!! so he put me on 300 mg a day of prometrium. i have to take it vaginaly and it is kinda messy...LOL. but any way so this was my first month on my meds and after i Od i kept having little twingie cramps on the left side of my uterus. i just felt pregnant. by cd 3-4 i knew i was pregnant. i also got a triphasic chart!! i knew that GOD was definetely making it happen for me this cycle. i have strong faith in him and i just knew he was gonna make it happen soon.!!! it was our time. so i tested on thanksgiving day which was 10 dpo for me. i used an ept + and - test. wow it was positive and i was absolutely giddy!! i just got up to get turkey in oven and dh was still in bed so i ran upstairs and was all like,"im pregnant!!!!" actualy first i put this hand on my heart and he's like,"whats wrong" cause it was beatin so hard...LOL. he smiled and thought i was kiding so i showed him and he was so suprised. we were both veryyyyyyyyyyy happy. like i said though, i just knew it, and i think he did too, and he even said a month or so ago that he felt it coming soon. so... we were both kind of knowing it was gonna happen. so anyway, so excited. i got my blood pg test on friday but wont find results till monday which is fine. i also took another test on saturday the 24th. it was pos as well. so now just waiting for that blood test. then they will give me further direction. im working with my RE's office. he is also keeping me on the prometrium till 9-10 wks of the pregnancy. so far my due date says august 3rd 2008. so any way, thankyou to all of you who gave me tremendous support and helped through everything!! i am praying for all of you and hope to see your BFP's realy realy soon!!!! hugs** blessings blessings blessings and baby dust to all!!!

Hi everyone!! well i am now closing to 8 months preggers. we have our babyshower next saturday. things are wonderful right now! i am not working anymore due to conflict with work, alot had to do with the pregnancy. but i think god was helping me out, because i couldnt imagine still be working now at almost 8 months!! blessings to all!!

THIS IS REALY WHAT WE WANT IN LIFE SO MUCH AND I CANT WAIT FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
