Prescribed Clomid 50mg CD 5-9

*10/5/2004 S/A NORMAL!!!
Count 55.8 Million (normal is >19.9)
Motility 55% (normal is >49%)!!!

*12/2/2004 CD3 B/W
Estrodiol: <30; FSH: 6.5; LH: 4.2
Ratio of LH:FSH = 4.2:6.5

*12/6/2004 HSG - ALL CLEAR!!!

*12/9/2004 U/S on CD10
Checking ovaries for "string of pearls" associated with PCOS. NORMAL!!!

*3/15/2005 1st Appointment with RE

*4/5/05 Diagnosed with Hypothyroidism.TSH = 5.01 (Normal = 0.34 - 2.5)
Starting 50mcg Synthroid to bring it back to normal.
My Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody is >70 where normal is <2

*4/19/05 - TSH = 4.08...Synthroid raised to 75mcg.

*5/11/05 - TSH = 3.43...Synthroid raised to 100mcg.
Insulin = 16.6 (16.1 is normal)
RE is starting me on Metformin.
Glucose is normal at 83.

*5/31/05 - TSH = 1.79!!! Within Normal Range! Synthroid will stay at 100mcg.
RE took me off of Metformin due to side effect of diarrhea...said my insullin wan't all that high, so I could probably go without it.

*6/30/05 - U/A for UTI, but also found 1000 units of Glucose in my urine! Doctor suggested I have diabetes.

*7/1/05 - B/W for glucose was normal again at 73. ?????
Also tested my glucose over past 3 months...no results back yet.

*7/26/05 - Re-test for TSH levels due to feeling signs of Hyperthyroidism. Assumed my level was up way too high. TSH = 3.53 Lower than it had been! RE said to see my regular doc about what to do about this.

*9/19/05 - Follie scan for first Femara cycle at CD13...nothing on the ovaries!?!? Nurce didn't think I already ovulated from what she saw in there (a septum and no fluid), but temp went up and ovulation was indicated at CD12.

*9/26/05 - Progesterone level was 12.38...ovulatory! Also had my thyroid b/w checked again... TSH = 3.18...still too low. RE raised Synthroid to 125mcg. I will be rechecked in 3-4 weeks.

*10/6/05 - CD3 u/s...everything looks good for stims! Started with 125 IU Follistim for CD3, and then 100 IU for CD4, 5, and 6.

*10/10/05 - (CD7) E2 = 82. U/S to check follicles...one on each ovary, 14mm on right, 16mm on left! Given 125 IU Follistim, and then 150 IU for CD8 and 9.

*10/13/05 - (CD10) E2 = 211. U/S showed follicle on right side at 20mm, but nothing on the left. I think they might have just missed that one because I can still feel it. Either way, I have one which is great! One more shot of 150 IU Follistim. Ready to trigger tonight at 9pm with 10,000 mIU of hCG.

*10/15/05 - (CD12) IUI with 200 Million washed sperm!!! 50% Motility! BFN

*11/27/05 - TSH=2.08! NORMAL!!!

TTC again while trying to lose weight and reclaim control of my life!

I've been suffering from depression for several months, and have started medications to help with that, as well as anxiety and high blood pressure.

After all these fertility treatments, we recently came to the realization that our fertility problems is not me at all.

It seems that David's genes are mutated, specifically chromosomes #9 and #14, which is now verified to be our problem in conceiving and holding on to a pregnancy...the 75% of his sperm that carry these mutated chromosomes simply don't mesh together like they should, so the genetic information does not get passed on.

But 25% of his sperm is normal, so we still have a chance that one of those sperm will meet with one of my eggs.

So we will TTC and put things into God's hands, and trust in Him.
