2/28/2008-Omg i got a pic of our little girl yesterday, and shes so beautiful. Well let me start from the begining. We were informed that my step 2nd cousin was still up for adoption. I had known 4 years ago, that she was, but thought surely she had been adopted by now. So i was so suprised to get a phone call from my mother after she had talked to my aunt, and my mother told me that she was still up for adoption. I was so thrilled. I told my husband with in seconds that i wanted her to come here, and live as our daughter, he agreed, but would like to talk to the caseworker about the details. (which is understandable right?) Ok well yesterday i recieved an email that said Maryann (thats her name) and it had the most beautiful picture of what will soon be our little girl. I want her here, home where she belongs. The caseworker said that if everything goes right with the homestudy (and she didnt forsee anything going wrong) that mary would be home at the longest 3 months, and final adoption hearing with in 6 months. Oh my, Oh my, this is faster than a pregnancy. We are so excited to become parents to this wonderful little girl. She has had some very bad things happen to her, and she will continue thearpy, her therist said that with continued thearpy and lots of tlc she will thrive. So heres my fast pased story.

3/12/2008-Just an update for those that are following my story. (im also going to use this as a blog if yall dont mind) We had a case worker come out this past saturday (march 8) and everything went well, she asked us tons of questions, from the way we were brought up all the way through how our marriage is. She wanted to know our whole life story lol. I understand they want to make sure shes being placed in a loving caring home, so we were not upset or offended at all by the questions, we eagerly answered them. I called the original caseworker (her name is Tamara) and she said wonderful that they already did it, and that it was done really fast, it normally takes up to 60 days to get it done. Tamara has the report of the homestudy, and is going to court on behalf of us on monday( march 17) and told us she could be home that weekend, but shouldnt be longer than a month. I asked about the visitations, and she said that in a relative adoptioin that visits are not needed. I got off the phone with her, and it hit me and hit me hard, OMG I AM GOING TO BE A MOMMY! I cryed, but this time the tears were not of pain and grief of not being pregnant, or feeling i would never be a monther, but these tears were mixed scared, and full of love and happiness. Scared that this is all a dream, or that something at the last min will prevent of us getting our little girl. I also got some more pics of her, but i dont have a scanner so i cant put them up. I have to wait until shes here and i can take them with my cam. Thank yall so much for your support, love, and prayers it makes all the difference in the world!

4/11/2008 We had maryanne last weekend, and boy did i enjoy myself. Its going to be a big adjustment being a mommy though. But its something i am willing to adapt to. We love her so much already! WE cant wait until shes here forever. She comes everyother weekend until
