DH & I were married in 2006. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was only 12 years old, and have had the diagnosis confirmed recently. We knew TTC might be an issue, so I went off birth control pills in May 2007 to see what happened. Along the journey, the doctor found a fibroid in my uterine cavity that I had removed in October 2007, and we learned that DH has a motility problem with his sperm. We went ahead with IVF after several unsuccessful IUIs . . . and finally got our

*June 2007 - Not trying, using Fertility Monitor to see if ovulating. 30 day cycle, normal period - thinking all is okay!

*July 2007 - 32 day cycle, lots of cramping & spotting - not a good sign & BFN.

*August 2007 - 37 day cycle, 7DPO P4 = 4.85. Probably not ovulating a mature egg & BFN.

*September 2007 - 39 day cycle, Clomid CD 3-7, 8DPO P4=14.7! BFN. DH's s/a showed poor motility.

*October/November 2007 - On a forced break - Day 3 u/s found a fibroid. Hysterosonogram confirmed fibroid in uterine lining. HSG showed tubes are open! Surgery to remove fibroid October 26. DH is avoiding cycling and taking vitamins - just in case we can increase his count. Taking Premarin & Provera to thicken lining.

*December 2007 - Given the all-clear to resume TTC! First IUI - Clomid 100 mg CD 3-7, 75 iu Follistim on CD 9, 11, 13-14, 112.5 IU Follistim CD 15-17, and 75 IU Follistim CD 18, Ovidrel trigger, IUI 12/11. DH's sperm count improved after quitting cycling and going on vitamins for 2 months! BFN.

*January 2008 - Found cysts on ultrasound CD 3. Cyst on left ovary measuring 4.0 cm, cyst on right ovary measuring 1.8 cm. Injectibles/IUI cancelled. Back on bcps to get rid of cysts.

*February 2008 - CD 3 u/s all clear! Starting injectibles (Follistim) for second IUI. BFN.

*March/April 2008 - IVF #1. 3/1 started bcps, 3/19 started lupron, last bcp 3/21, AF 3/23. Lupron evaluation 3/25 - estrogen slightly elevated. Estrogen re-check 3/28 - all clear! Started stimming 3/28 with 150 units Follistim and 37.5 units Luveris. 4/2 increased to 225 Follistim and 75 units Luveris. Triggered with 10,000 units Novarel 4/5. ER 4/7, 9 retrieved, 7 mature, 6 fertilized, 4 growing normally. 4/10, ET - 1 perfect 8 cell, 1 5 cell, and 1 4 cell. Beta #1 4/25 - 617!! Beta #2 4/28 1809.
