Big Legal Wedding Day - 05-13-05! Thank you, Massachusetts!

Jen and I have known each other since we were teenagers but did not begin dating until 2001. After exchanging rings in 2002, we made it totally legal in 2005.

I started taking 1000mg/day of Metformin in 02-2005, and my RE doubled that to 2000mg/day Metformin XR in 03-2006. I began charting in 03-2006 and noticed my first ever thermal shift and EWCM that cycle!

Current plan: IUIs with ovulation-induction medication and frozen anonymous donor sperm.

IUI #1 - 04-07-2006 - 100mg/day Clomid on CDs 4-8 and an hCG trigger on CD 14. BFN.
IUI #2 - 05-09-06 - BFN again, with 100mg/day Clomid CD3-7.
IUI #3 - 06-2006, same protocol. Cycle cancelled due to poor response to Clomid. Looks like I O'd on my own much later. Oops.

RE consult 06-26-06 to discuss options and next steps. New plan is to try IUI with Follistim. Insurance requires updated CD3 b/w and HSG before approval.07-03-06 - CD3 b/w (FSH 5.75, Estradiol 64) 07-06-06 - HSG (all clear)

IUI #4: Follistim, 2 follicles, E2 = 398, BFN
IUI #5: Follistim, 1 follicle, E2 = 150, BFN
IUI #6: Follistim, 3 follicles, E2 = 750, BFP!!
