CM Pattern Analyzer

FertilityFriend.com's CM Pattern Analyzer allows you to find patterns in cervical fluid data. It also allows you to spot usual or unusual occurrences of this primary fertility sign.

Usage:
The purpose of the CM Pattern Analyzer is to help you identify patterns in your cervical fluid data. For example, you may wonder what type of cervical fuild you get before or after ovulation or if you experience a specific cervical fluid pattern before your period. You may also look at your past pregnancy cycles to see if anything was different in your cervical fluid data compared to your usual pattern. The graph will help you to find the answers to these kinds of questions in the context of your personal cycle history.

Another important usage is to compare a given cycle to your usual pattern. The CM Pattern Analyzer allows you to plot the cervical fluid data of a specific cycle on top of your usual pattern graph. This allows you to quickly spot common or unusual occurrences of a given cervical fluid type. The CM Pattern Analyzer is integrated with the home page system and allows you to check your usual pattern against any cycle displayed on a home page (for example, your own cycle, a cycle from a friend, or any home page you are able to view). This is particularly useful to compare CM patterns and identify similarities and differences.

Graph Description:
The horizontal axis represents the cycle days. You can pin your charts on ovulation day, the cycle start date or the end of the cycle. This allows you to see patterns more accurately. When pinning your cycles on ovulation, positive numbers represent days past ovulation (DPO). Negative numbers represent days before ovulation. When pinning your cycles on the end of cycle, day 1 on the graph represents the last day of each cycle, day 2 represents the second last day and so forth. The vertical red line always represents the ovulation day.

The vertical axis lists the different cervical fluid types recorded (numbered and color-coded). Each line of the graph displays a mini histogram of occurrences for the particular cervical fluid type. The higher the colored bar for a given day, the more frequently this type of cervical fluid occurs on that particular day. The highlighted cycle is displayed with an outline on the corresponding days and cervical fluid type.

Data Analyzed:
The CM Analyzer takes into account the cervical fluid data as well as any spotting data recorded.

Home page Display:
You can show your usual pattern graph on your home page to share with your friends, your support groups or health care provider.

You can access the CM Pattern Analyzer from the Analysis menu, the "CM Pattern Analyzer" below your chart. You will also find the "Compare CM" link below each chart of any home page you visit.
